First off, I’d really like to start an e-newsletter for keeping my customers in the loop. It would be a monthly newsletter, sent straight to your email inbox. It will include things like current and upcoming promotions, contests, new fragrances and products, and even a “first look” when I have new products in the works! I will also include information for testers.

If this is something you’re interested in, just comment to this post with your email address and I will add you to the list. Hoping to get the first issue out very soon!

I’ve decided to extend the sale through the weekend, since I did spend some of the last couple of days making changes to some items. I know that when I’m editing on my end, you can’t purchase on your end - so I want to be sure nobody misses out because they tried while I was working on it!

This is going on through Friday afternoon - and then Saturday and Sunday, the fragrance “Independence” will be on sale in celebration of Fourth of July! Hooray we say!

I am working hard to get the site updated, fragrance list corrected and updated, and products restocked - please bear with me, and I’ll try to get it done ASAP.

I’m also looking for a new shopping cart plugin, so if anyone knows of a great (reliable!) one for Wordpress please let me know!

An online friend of mine, from CWCB, is going through a long and difficult journey right now.. they are trying to adopt a beautiful little girl named Olive - she’s from a country that isn’t “allowed” to be named, and a lot of their protocols are causing problems for my friend.

Olive has Down Syndrome - where she comes from, children with disabilities don’t really have much of a chance.. if she isn’t adopted, she’ll end up institutionalized eventually.

Adoption isn’t cheap.. it isn’t even really “affordable” for the majority of people - but they are trying so hard to raise funds for her adoption, and with the help of many supportive friends, I know they’ll do it.

And here’s where I (and you!) come in:

I’ve got one special fragrance, and it’s dedicated to Saving Olive. The price on it is a tad higher than others, but 100% of profits will go straight to Olive’s adoption fund. It’s called Capri Olivo, and it’s a lovely scent. It’s very “fresh” smelling, but has a tiny hint of an herbacious undertone.

I love Memorial Day Weekend.. it’s so hectic and busy, but in a good way! We have parades and dances and rodeos.. all kinds of events throughout town, and it’s so much fun for the whole family!

But that’s not all.. as a Navy veteran myself, I really appreciate all of the attention that goes into making our country’s heroes feel like they haven’t been forgotten. Flags are waving everywhere, music is playing, the colorguard stops to salute the flag during the parade..  and you see strangers stopping the veterans on the street just to say “Thanks”.

As I said.. I love Memorial Day Weekend. It makes my heart feel good.

To show my excitement, I’ve got a new scent on sale - Now through Monday, the fragrance “Heroes” will be 10% off. This is a custom blend, and once it’s gone there won’t be any more!  If I had to describe it, I’d say it’s “fresh, but with a fruity note too” - I love it. Reminiscent of honey, a tiny bit floral, and some ozonic “fresh air” hints too!

I just restocked fragrances and cleared out ones that will be sold out for an indefinite period of time.

Now in stock, we have Monkey Farts, Baby Bee, and Froot Loops - along with a few new ones, including Summer Lovin’, Sandalwood, Autumn Magic, Chai Tea, Winter Candy Apple, Doodle Bug, Blue Agave’, and Lavender Sage!

Also, I have four bottles of fragrance oil that the labels have either peeled off or smeared badly. I have NO IDEA what these actually are. I have added them to the list as “Mystery Scents” - you never know what you’ll get! (Sometimes the surprise is the best part!) Obviously, when these are sold out, there will not be any more..

The button photo contest is underway! I’ve received several adorable submissions, and hope to get many more soon!

Send the photo to me at dustijorden@gmail.com and I will pick one weekly winner! The winner gets a free item from my store – and who doesn’t like free stuff?
All submissions will be posted on www.liloutlaws.net while I am choosing the winning photo – and then I’ll choose my favorite at the end of each week!
It’s not hard.. just take a photo and email it in, then wait to see your brilliance on the website!
Hold on to that button when you’re done – you can submit as many times as you want, so keep on taking pictures with it!

One of these buttons has been included with all of my recent packages - I’m running low, and when they’re gone, there won’t be any more in the near future! If you have one of these and haven’t used it yet, give it a shot! If you have one and don’t have any interest in using it, I’d be happy to have it back!

Here are the first submissions for the contest: Once I have some more, I’ll have my husband pick a winner. Once the winner is announced, the contest will start over.

If you’ve submitted before, you can enter again! You can use the same picture you used before IF it did NOT win previously. (Although, if I had my druthers, I’d love for you to submit a different photo each time!)

Priority Mail has not been affected, but First Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation have.  In turn, I will be having to raise my prices slightly (.25 - .50)  to accomodate this change. Items which are normally shipped priority (like detergent) will not have their price changed.
